Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

This item shipped and arrived quickly. I’ve had my eye on this tile for quite a while. I’m converting a very large pantrycloset into a powder room and plan to decorate in the Art Deco style. This tile caught my attention and I’ve found myself designing the space around it. I am impressed with the depth and dimension of the tiles, and the iridescence of the silverwhite diamond shapes is gorgeous! I can’t wait to get to the construction stage to put this tile in! Well there is only one thing I can say and its WOW! These are amazing. They not only look and
feel good, they stick like crazy. They have a great feel to them. Not like cheap peal and stick. You can also make them in any shape you want. I just am really happy with these.
This stuff is so cool . Real stone that is self adhesive . We’re going to use it as a backsplash around the sink .
It’s thick , attractive , and sticks really well . As a bonus it’s heat and water resistant .

Will be ordering more to complete the bathroom walls. Very nice material and overall finish of product. I enjoy the different colors so adding neutrals would work well with this material. The silver keeps it modern to go with the other modern fixtures in the room.
Have yet to cut or trim material since not much space is covered with one box, and I’ll need more to finish the space.
The backing seems tough to withstand a clean wall with texture as our wall are, so time will tell and update will come.
I was more impressed when I saw these non-stick tiles in person. They look like real tile and were very sturdy. Theres only 8 to a pack , so I will be ordering more. I think they can be cut with a box cutter.
These peel and stick tiles are so pretty in person, the photos don’t do them Justice! They are a thick quality material, and I had to pick them up to just to see if I had received the wrong box because they looked so much like the real thing! I initially planned on doing a DIY project with them to cover the existing tiles on my fireplace but now that I have them, I want a professional to come do the job right! Updated pics after the install coming soon.
Great looking tile that is hard to tell it’s just peel n stick! Recommend using a manual laminate flooring cutting tool to cut them!
I had to get a professional to install for me. It appeared as though I could it myself, but that didn’t happen. I love it! The colors are great.
I love these tiles! They stick well. The sheets come apart into individual pieces so it makes it easy to design the look you want. I am so excited about finishing the area I am doing. The tiles are a little heavy as they have a stone surface. These tiles are truely amazing!
