Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

This tile is really lovey, they are big pieces and the versatility is incredible. I plan to just randomly place them on the walls leading to my upstairs, they will provide a whimsical design element. The tile is flat but the design makes the appear to be textured.
Hello All, if youre looking for something southwestern,soft looking, and east to install, these are the tiles for you. The colors are modern and classy looking. The material is super sturdy and strong once glued.
These are a nice quality for being peel and stick. They are more like a real ceramic tile. I had a very specific need for them - I wanted make a backsplash for my dogs' water dish because the slobber and spray was starting to warp the bottom of my cabinet. I used my own hardboard on the back and measured to fit the tiles. These were the perfect size to suit my cabinet, I did 3x3 pattern.
Speaking of pattern, these aren't perfect. Maybe they're meant to imitate handmade? But it's the same imperfection on every tile. On two of the tiles, the print was peeling a little bit. Not sure about the lifespan for these tiles, but if you're using them for a decorative purpose and not a hard working kitchen backsplash or floor, they'll probably be great.
The color is beautiful, and the sticky part of the tiles was well placed on 8 of the 10. There was a small amount of misalignment on the sticky part (which is like double sided foam tape) but not bad. Adheres very well too - the downside of peel and stick is you don't have much choice once it sticks to the surface, so make sure you place it right the first time!
These tiles are acrylic and can be used anywhere. I personally used them in my kitchen. I loved the style, color, and size. Unfortunately, I didnt have enough with one box, but Im going to buy more when theyre available again to put in my entire kitchen. Make sure to have a straight guide because the adhesive is very strong, and after installing them, you cant peel them off. You could damage the wall or remove the adhesive from the tile. I recommend it. I hope it comes out soon.
I am satisfied with the quality of this product and I absolutely adore the colors and pattern. I do wish it was appropriate to use it on the floor as it would make my kitchen SING! Now I just need to figure out where I’m going to use it.
I cannot eyeball any kind of measurement - I just can't. I wasn't sure if the tiles were tiny or avg sized. But I love the pop of orange/tangerine. I'm a new homeowner and I want color! These tiles will do just well. I will update with more photos once all walls are sand (see other products) and primed (more ways than one). 😊 The orange is not the bright 🧡. I love it! Stay tuned for the process. Just try it and see!
I purchased these tiles as a backsplash behind my stove. These are nice and thick and a beautiful teal background with golden mustardy yellow and white design as shown. I havent put these tiles up yet as i am doing other decor changes in my kitchen, so dont know yet how well they stick, but will use regardless because of the thickness and beautiful color/pattern.

Havent used these tiles yet, but so far pleasantly surprised. Seem like they are a good quality- decent thickness and solid material. Fun design and nice color pallet - although somewhat muted colors - not super vivid
