Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

Trying to polish our turd of a kitchen, but we have a thousand other projects, so didn't want to get too involved with actual tiles. These I can stop and start whenever, which makes it easy on me when the kids are being sassy. So far, I really like them. Easy to install, seem to stick well. Will update if anything changes!
Pretty heavy , very substantial "tile" like plastic .Variety of design within pack.this is not "repeat" kinda tile for symmetrical repeat. Thera are the same file but random golden accents on them.So if you are looking for symmetrical repeat this may not be for you. Overall great boho vibe .Come with thick adhesive on the back.I haven't install them yet, but so far they are looking great.

Beautiful and unique tile, but because of the shape you may need multiple boxes to do a project to get a full view of the tiles beauty. Gray marble like style with silver or gold inlay, this example has a silver inlay.
Easy to use.
This backsplash is so nice. The pieces are very heavy, but was still fairly easy to install on the wall. They look so expensive looking they are pricey to order but still worth it. They have been easy to wipe off as needed as well.
I have been working on a redo in my bathroom and have done several things (like change out the large, flat mirror with one of those LED ribbon light mirrors - it is a bit smaller mirror, but with the added light around the edge, it is a truly cool upgrade! Since my new mirror isn't totally flat against the wall, I could add a neat backsplash. This tile filled that bill really well! Granted, I did have to cut the tiles so that I had a straight line of tiles across the bottom, but above these tiles, I have some other tiles that are pretty and blend well with these, but this set of tiles is the show-stopper for real!
You definitely have to lay them all out to get an idea of how they will fit together, once you do that, they look great, I got them for my coffee station, however these would look amazing in a nursery setting, they clean/wipe off nice
These thicker than the average peel and stick tile are precision made, have strong adhesion and are easy to install. I used it in the coffee area to add some depth. It gave a great luxury backdrop for my coffee appliances. A nice way to dress up a small area.
I have not installed these just yet but will in the next several weeks and will update this review.
Out the box they are beautiful and sturdy feeling. They interlock easily while playing with idea ways to arrange them on my wall. These will be installed in a bathroom area.
